This is our second year of buying coffee from Camila Gomez, one of our favourite producers.
Camilas coffees are always really clean and sweet - a great example of the quality of Colombian coffees.
Camila, from an early age learnt how to buy coffee with the guidance of her father. At the age of 25, she decided to grow her own coffee. Ever since she started planting, her main focus has been the varietal Caturra. Camilas brother, Jose Gomez is the owner of a specialty coffee export company and since 2015, they have been focused on improving their processes in order to reach cup profiles of 87+ for their washed coffees and be able to obtain a much better ‘microlot’ price for these lots. This has been accomplished in the last 2 years and we are looking to set up a partnership program with Camila, so we can bring more of her exceptional coffees to NZ.
