Colombia Fredy Adarme - Filter Roast
ABOUT THIS COFFEE
This coffee is produced by Fredy Adarme. Once the ripe coffee cherries are harvested, Fredy ferments his Caturra for 30 hours inside plastic tanks.
The cherries are then pulped and placed on raised beds to dry for 25 days.
Fredy is a member of La Cooperativa de Cafe Especiales de Narino and has been growing coffee for 25 years.
In 2017 Fredy decided to move away from producing traditional washed coffees and experiment with natural and honey processed coffees.
Due to high humidity on Fredys farm, he made the decision to focus on just producing honeys.
This is due to the drying space required to produce honeys is much smaller and the duration of the drying time is much shorter when compared with naturals.
